TERMS OF DELIVERY AND PAYMENT

THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. specializes in high quality stoneware ceramic fired at 1220°C in LPG fired kilns. The main product lines are kitchenware, tableware, Spa items and ornamental ceramics as well as corporate gifts. The raw materials -- clay and glaze -- are imported from Germany. We only use raw materials that are free of lead or other poisonous ingredients. Therefore, the products of THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. can be used to store, prepare or serve any kind of food.


All our products are suited to the standard of the modern household and restaurant: They are ovenproof, microwavable, and dishwasher proof as well. However as the products are made in the high quality standard of vitrified stoneware they can’t be used on top of a range or open fire.


As the production process is purely handmade -- by free forming on the potter's wheel and applying the glaze by dipping -- please take note that the products can vary slightly in size, shape and color. This is the traditional way of making ceramics which gives our products the warm touch of the heart. Through this, each piece has its own characteristics.


If the customer needs custom made items we are able to develop items based on the needs of the customer. For custom made items we strongly suggest to give time for making samples. This takes 3 to 4 weeks. We send the samples to the customer for confirmation. If adjustments are necessary and samples need to be made again this takes 3 to 4 weeks again. Sampling is free of charge but the samples will be send freight collect to the customer. Samples that are confirmed and kept by the customer need to be paid for. Samples that are not confirmed need to be send back to THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. on the account of the customer.


THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. guarantees careful conducted quality and packing control. In the rare case that there might be any complaints about delivered items this needs to be brought to the attention of THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. within 6 working days after receiving the shipment. This needs to be done in written -usually by email, no text massage- with a photo attached if items are broken or have any other visible defect.


All our prices are ex-works Cagayan de Oro City including packing in cartons. If crating is needed, 2% of the total net value of the goods is charged.


The minimum lead time for any order is 4 weeks. Depending on the volume of the order as well as the available capacity in THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. the lead time can increase up to 10 weeks or more. Together with a quotation for the requested order THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. can give a reliable production lead time. THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. is not liable for delays due to force majeure, brown outs, or unforeseen declarations of special holidays etc.


For any order a 50% down payment has to be made before THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. starts the production of the order. The balance payment needs to be made before the order is shipped or at the time the order is picked up. Finished orders that are not claimed within 3 months after the client was informed that the orders are ready to be picked up are deemed abandoned. Any down payment made will not be refunded.

Shipment can be done through sea or air freight and is freight collect. The customer is free to choose any kind of shipment. THE STONEWARE POTTERY, INC. will be assisting in choosing a forwarder and get an estimated quotation.


If export shipments need to be crated fumigation is usually required and will be charged at cost to the customer.

Any divergent agreement needs to be confirmed in written by The Stoneware Pottery, Inc.
