The Westerwald, a region in the heart of Germany not far from the River Rhine, is the site of the largest European deposit of high quality stoneware clay. This clay is especially processed for THE STONEWARE POTTERY production of tableware and then shipped to Cagayan de Oro.

This is Alfredo giving optimal plasticity to the clay by kneading it intensively -- the first but necessary step to achieve a good product on the potter's wheel.
